What is LED strip?

LED Strip is flexible lighting strip that contains surface mounted components covered with silicon. Through the usage of the LED strip can be achieved different lighting effects.

Can LED strip be cut?

Yes! You can easily cut the LED strips, but only on the indicated places. Use a sharp cutting instrument.

Once cut, is the strip still waterproof?

The cut has to be done on the indicated places to keep its degree of “water resistance”. If the cut has been done properly, it will maintain its degree of "weather resistance". Once the cut is done Light Media recommends sealing the end that has been cut with some silicone to protect it from any humidity and water access.

What is the best way to mount LED horizontal strip?

Light Media offers mounting channels for the LED Neon Flex. For LED self-adhesive strip there is no need of any mounting channels or clips due to the strong 3M adhesive mounting tape on the back side of the LED strip. It is strong enough to hold it tight.

The horizontal LED strip requires cable ties, also known as zip ties, to be mounted under the car. For horizontal installation some clips are needed.

Do LED products require transformers?

For LED horizontal strip and LED soft neon, there is no need of any transformer if those LEDs are used only for car accent lights. BUT if there is an intention to use LED lights where the tension is high, such as 110V, 220V, 250V LED transformer is required(adaptor or driver).

What is RGB LEDs?

• The abbreviation RGB LED is used for Red, Green and Blue Light Emitting Diodes. This type of lights can emit different colors.
